- Remove heavy shadows and custom card styling for cleaner aesthetic

- Preserve Alpine.js for reactive functionality
- Use CSS Grid for responsive horizontal controls layout
- Add smooth transitions for navigation collapse/expand
- Maintain HTMX for dynamic content loading
